COVID-19 Update (10/13/20)

 

We at Prospect Animal Clinic wish to make social distancing easier for everyone while still giving your pets the best possible care in the safest possible environment.  We are always adapting our practices to make things flow as smoothly and safely as we can. Please visit this site frequently to stay up to date on our procedures. 

We will continue to keep both front doors locked for the time being.  All traffic is being directed through our side door (on the left side of the building) and must be authorized by staff.  Once you are admitted into the clinic by a staff member, please make sure you wear your mask.  

If you have an appointment with a DOCTOR:  

1) Please call us when you arrive in the parking lot (688-2001) and our reception staff will get you checked in.  

2) Once a doctor is ready and your exam room has been sanitized we will escort your pet into the clinic.  At this time, we are allowing 1 client to be present with their patient in the clinic.  A mask is required at all times while in the clinic!  It is not required that you be present so if you wish to remain in your vehicle and speak with a doctor by phone, just let staff know when you call from the parking lot to check in.

3) You may pay at the front desk at the conclusion of your appointment or by phone with a credit card. We are trying to limit phone payment transactions at this time to free up our phone lines for clients calling with questions, concerns, or trying to check in for appointments.

If you have an appointment with a TECHNICIAN (nail trims, bloodwork, laser treatments etc...):

1) Please call us when you arrive in the parking lot (688-2001) and our reception staff will get you checked in.

2) One client wearing a mask may enter with the pet at the staff's discretion based on occupancy.  Staff will direct you where to wait and once inside, you may take care of payment right at the front desk.

3) We do still take payments over the phone but are trying to limit these transactions to free up our phone lines for clients with questions, concerns, and calling to check in for appointments.

If you are picking up food or medications:  

1) Please call us when you arrive in the parking lot (688-2001) and staff will give you further instructions.  Depending on our occupancy at that time we may direct you to enter the building with a mask to retrieve your items or we may meet you at a specified door.

2) We will try to collect payment inside at the front desk, if possible.  Again, we are trying to limit phone transactions to free up our phone lines for other calls but we can still take credit cards over the phone.

We are always looking to improve our procedures.  We will try to keep you updated as best we can when things change.  If you have any other requests to make this time easier for you, please ask.  We are here to help.  We do apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate your patience as we continue to decide how best to serve you while maintaining everyone’s safety.
